I’m a wife, Mom, writer, wonder seeker, sinner, hope seller, wood maker with a restless heart for Jesus.

I am part of  SCBWI (Society of Children Book Writers & Illustrators) where I led a critique group and learned from some amazingly creative friends.   It was there that I found the name “Sonshine” – “Son” for the three sons that we’ve been blessed by and “Shine” for the love that shines over everything that I create to hide the imperfect .  I humbly serve at SHARE, where I walk alongside of grieving families that have lost a little love.  Our little love, Hannah, would have been 17 come this Fall.  I’m a sports “mom” who is the biggest fan of our 3 boys but struggles with this new season of    “The Teenager”.

My art work can be found at The Coffee House in downtown Franklin, Franklin Family Pharmacy and Art Is In Market in the Green Hills mall.  Check it out online at Etsy.com  search for storefront “SonshineLove”.  I’ve written for local magazines  (essays can be found catholic365.com).

Thanks for taking the time in this busy world to stop by.
